Margus Sarmet

Introduction

I have been practicing tantra and yoga since 2011, and in that time tantra and yoga have changed my life beyond recognition. My quality of life, self-satisfaction, focus, productivity, confidence, performance and well-being have improved tremendously. The main reason why I practice tantra is spiritual aspiration. I am convinced that it is possible for all of us to reach enlightenment in this lifetime, what is needed above all is sufficient aspiration and commitment. I consider tantra to be one of the most powerful spiritual systems and a highway to personal development, despite the fact that sometimes it “bumps” along the way quite severely.

My studies of sexual tantra began at Bhairava Yoga School and continued at Agama Yoga School in Thailand. In Agama, I also completed a tantra teacher course. I have been practicing non-sexual tantra, or right hand tantra, since 2014 in the Shivoham Tantra lineage under the guidance of Guruji Rajkumar. I have completed a full course in hatha yoga at Isvara Yoga School and my kundalini yoga teacher training comes from the international Karam Kriya Yoga School. In addition, I have taken countless courses from different teachers.

Formally, I am a civil engineer (TTU) with a degree in science, and I have also defended degrees in strategic management (UT) and organisational behaviour (TTU). I am continuing my development by studying Transpersonal Psychology and Hypnotherapy at the private school “Conscious Self”.

I earn my daily bread as a construction expert, as well as being an entrepreneur (see: www.acto.ee, www.kohtuekspert.ee and www.mustkuuslauk.ee) and investor, a sex education promoter and organizer of tantra events in various formats, as well as awareness camps for children and youth. I am also a practising transpersonal psychology therapist.

My worldview is holistic and I know that everything affects everything. Therefore, I try to practice moderation in my personal life as well as in my teachings. I am convinced that having a personal higher purpose and pursuing it strategically on an ongoing basis is the key to success in any endeavor, whether it be economic well-being or the highest aspect of personal development. In my personal practices and in my teachings, I integrate ancient wisdom with modern knowledge, thereby finding the truth within myself.

I hope to pass on a fragment of my knowledge to you.

SAUNA – A SANCTUARY WITHIN MYSELF

For Estonians, the sauna is a sacred place.
It is through the sauna that people have entered this world and through the sauna that they have departed. The sauna was a place for healing the sick and the frail, and on Thursday evenings it offered renewal for both body and spirit. The sauna has always been—and will continue to be—a portal between this world and the beyond.
Countless folk tales speak of how the sauna has served as a gateway to the otherworld, whether it’s the devil lurking behind the window or the spirits of ancestors feasting in the sauna on All Souls’ Day. Time and again, the sauna is a place to come together, to be in communion. To receive support and to give it. As befits any sacred space.
The saying “in the sauna, everyone is equal” also points to its sacred nature. Before the Divine, all are equal and naked… both in body and in soul.
Let us gather, let all masks and coverings fall away, connect with the deeper layers of ourselves, and allow suppressed or even unacknowledged needs and desires to rise to the surface. Let the old die, so that there is space for the new to be born.

SPIRIT X (BODY+MIND) = POWER

The power and potency of tantric practices lie in the ability to unite energies of different polarities into a functional energy circuit (partner practices) and to combine these circuits into a shared, mutually amplifying mechanism—like a battery (group practices).
Together, we will explore energies within ourselves that may be unfamiliar or previously unconscious, discovering methods to activate and purposefully direct them. To do this, we will release the dogmas that restrict sexuality and draw power from within ourselves and inspiration from the group—all in a state of awareness and presence, yet also with joy and strength.
The workshop includes nudity and sexual touch.

EMBODYING THE DIVINE

Tantra is a spiritual path that can lead us to a place where we remember and embody our divine nature. In this workshop, we will share a tantric worldview and techniques for experiencing ourselves as the Creator, raising our frequency, and freeing ourselves from the suffering that arises when we identify with an ego-based worldview of separation. We will practice a variety of solo and partner exercises that you can also use in your daily life to shift your state from victim to creator, from separation to connection, and from suffering to bliss. No partner is required for this workshop.
