I have had the pleasure of doing therapy work for 16 years. People are very exciting and inspire to constantly acquire new knowledge and experience. I have acquired a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Tartu. I have acquired the skills of individual counseling in psychology and hypnotherapy training and during several other trainings. The training of family constellations has been very interesting for me. I am currently studying body psychotherapy in the 2nd year.
My couple therapy knowledge and skills are based on training in family psychotherapy, image relationship therapy and emotion-focused couple therapy.
People are happier and feel more confident in difficult situations when they have close relationships with their friends and family. To contribute to this, I have created the communication game “Open and discover”, the goals of which are to discover yourself and others, to experience a greater mission and joy of being together.
My knowledge and advice on relationship topics have been covered in several Estonian media publications (e.g. Anne ja Stiil, Õhtuleht, Delfi). In addition, I have participated in podcasts, conducted group therapies and trainings (e.g. on the topics of creating closeness and the pain of separation).
On the website www.jannekants.com you can find my articles and podcasts (e.g. Sexcast “How to get from jealousy to pleasure”).
Connecting with yourself and others will bring you to a state where you can create life in a new way.
WOMEN’S SHARING CIRCLE
A woman is fascinating, mysterious, and sometimes completely incomprehensible — both to herself and to others. Within her lies softness and strength, care and selfishness, the prostitute and the loyal partner, helplessness and independence. How can one possibly understand what a woman truly wants? To grasp the nature and desires of a woman, one must recognize that she is, by nature, full of contradictions. And this is not a condition to be cured 😊 — it is a resource, if one learns to consciously embrace and work with these polarities.
In this women’s sharing circle, we will explore our opposing qualities, engage in exercises to foster self-acceptance, and discuss how to harness our inner polarities in a way that enriches our lives and gives us more possibilities, courage, and freedom to be our true selves.
CONVERSATION CIRCLE ON RELATIONSHIPS
Anyone who is interested in relationship matters is welcome to join us for a fascinating discussion where we can share our thoughts, questions, suggestions and listen to the views of others. Perhaps they will reassure us, intrigue us, help us understand different perceptions, inspire us to see new connections and solutions. In an open conversation, we can explore the root causes of problems, look for solutions and share our good ideas and practices with others.
Bring along a question or a topic – together we’ll choose what to tackle.
I will suggest topics for couples to come to therapy with. For example:
How to create both passion and security in a relationship?
How to find the right balance between freedom and commitment in a relationship?
What to do when one partner is often unhappy and the other ignores?
How can you create in your partner a desire to be more involved and committed?
How can love be nurtured and destroyed? If and how can trust be restored?
How to bring more intimacy, passion and excitement into a relationship?
Can you be honest and caring?
Who is right and how to find out the truth?
What to do with jealousy? The boundaries that break down and support relationships.
Best wishes
Janne
