I am a practising (theatre)artist who has been guided by life’s calm but firm hand on the path of mental health. Which means that in addition to my projects as an artist, I also do counselling and creative therapy.
In fact, I am interested in life as a ‘whole phenomenon’, so I try to explore it with as many different methods and from as many different angles as possible: sometimes by diving into it as if there is no tomorrow; sometimes by observing and analysing on the fly; sometimes by experimenting and playing with possibilities; sometimes by speaking out and making contact, sometimes by closing in and building defences, sometimes by talking, sometimes by remaining silent: as a human being, a woman, a mother, an artist, a counsellor, an individual, a community member. Like all of us who live.
